Scalling XP to Large Project
Abstract
XP seems to be a good method for small teams to develop high-power software
system. There are concerns about the ability of the method to scale to
scopes any larger than 12 developers. It only takes a small number of changes in the set of practices
comprising XP to make it into a method scaleable to quite large scope.
In this talk, we'll discuss how scaling the size of a project effects the
existing XP practices. We'll then see what modifications are necessary to
existing practices and what new practices we need to add to support scaling
XP to quite large size.
