Programming on a J2ME smart phone, the Motorola Accompli Together with: Anko Krey. Abstract At NotTheFly we have been implementing a Chess service as a technology demonstrator on an actual Accompli GPRS Java Phone. This has been realized by us using the J2ME high level and low level API's. In this tutorial we would like to introduce the basic concepts of J2ME programming, the classes available and software pitfalls when communicating over a live GPRS network link. Also hints will be given on the additional Motorola specific API's.
