Architecture Quality (day 1)
Host: Frank Buschmann
The success or failure of a software architecture often depends on its ability to meet specific quality requirements, such as performance, scalability, availability, reliability, extensibility, and configurability.
However, achieving these architecture qualities is often non-trivial, especially if the corresponding requirements are "extreme" or "stringent", or when building software platforms and product-lines.
In this track, therefore, world-class architecture experts explore the solution spaces for several important architecture qualities: their established patterns and best practices, as well as the factors that guide the selection of a specific solution in the presence of concrete requirements and constraints.
Goal of the track is to provide you with concrete and practical advice about how to achieve and ensure sustainable software architecture quality in your projects.
