This track covers some current trends in technologies and frameworks for programming web applications. Two years ago AJAX was practically unknown, now it is all over the place; but there has been little focus on managing yet another technology in the stack. This track offers some insights in experiences and best practices for handling the complexity introduced by AJAX. Further, this track offers some in depth presentations on the most pervasive and misunderstood programming language: JavaScript. Another recent trend is the surfacing of continuation-based web application frameworks, which divert from the classical request-response idiom.
