Jim Highsmith, Cutter Consortium

/alltime/images/speakers/jim_highsmith.jpg Jim Highsmith is director the Cutter Consortium's Agile Project Management Practice and author of Agile Software Development Ecosystem (Addison Wesley 2002) and Adaptive Software Development: A Collaborative Approach to Managing Complex Systems (Dorset House 2000) which won the prestigious Jolt award for product excellence. Jim has 20-plus years experience as a consultant, software developer, manager, and writer. He has published dozens of articles in major industry publications , including "Does Agility Work", Software Development June 2002; "The Agile Manifesto"; co-authored with Martin Fowler, Software Development August 2001; "Agile Software Development: The Business of Innovation", and "The People Factor"; co-authored with Alistair Cockburn, IEEE Computer September and November 2001.
