Shane Caraveo, ActiveState
Shane is a hacker by heart, one foot in the world of dynamic languages, the other in more obscure efforts like writing debugger protocols or NPAPI plugins.
He was a core developer for PHP, making major contributions such as the port to Windows, the SAPI architecture and early SOAP implementations.
At ActiveState, he is the chief dragon-wrangler for Komodo, an IDE developed in XUL, JavaScript and Python, on top of the Mozilla code base.
