Presentation: "Testing Data Access code pragmatically"

Track:   The .Net Road

Time: Monday 14:30 - 15:30

Location: SAS Dania

Abstract:

In this talk we'll explore the options we face when trying to write coded tests against a data layer, or a real live Database.

Among others, we'll talk about rolling back changes with Enterprise Services, TransactionScope and the ADO.NET Transaction object, and also take look at writing database unit tests using team system for database developers.

You'll get the tools you need whether you work with .NET 1.1, 2.0 or 3.0, and you'll never go back to the way you used to test your data layer. If time permits, a little song will follow!
