Presentation: "Continuous Integration"
Time:
Monday 10:30 - 11:20
Location:
Rytmisk Sal
Abstract: It's been 8 years since Martin Fowler published his paper on Continuous Integration. I'll be looking at the core practices described in the original paper and how people are applying these practices to projects today. I'll also be looking at how some of the language used in that paper has evolved. For example, 8 years ago Integration meant getting the code in a single project running together, but these days it's come to mean getting many projects integrating with each other. Finally, I'll be touching on emerging trends as new vendors of CI products have entered the market in the past few years.
