Presentation: "Google Chrome: The Invisible Browser"
Time:
Monday 11:30 - 12:20
Location:
Lille Sal
Abstract: Google Chrome is Google's new web browser built for tomorrow's web. Aside
from a sophisticated set of core technologies, it features a
streamlined and innovative user interface. The key philosophy behind
the user interface design has been "Content, not Chrome" where the
prominence of the user interface is minimized to place emphasis on the
pages and applications people are using online. Ben Goodger, Google Chrome's
user interface tech lead will talk about the challenges faced
balancing this approach with the feature set expected of a modern
browser.
