Abstract: SOA is currently one of the most popular buzzwords. First experiences
show, that SOA is a concept which has to implemented carefully and
adequately. As it is true for every architecture, also here
requirements, concepts, technologies and the implementation have to be
adjusted for achieving the desired synergy effect.
Especially the technical infrastructure has to match the domain architecture.
In this talk Nico will present his experience with one realization
of SOA in a big company.
The focus will be mainly on the concept of SOA in the sense of a technical
and domain architecture and less so on concrete tools or the special
case of web services.
