 Pervasive Computing

Pervasive and ubiquitous computing aims at environments saturated with computing and wireless communication, yet integrated with human users. Many key building blocks needed are now available: Wearable and handheld computers, high bandwidth wireless communication, location sensing mechanisms, and the like. The challenge is to combine these technologies into a seamless whole. In this focus track we get speakers with different views on pervasive computing to give their picture of what is needed and how far we are from the goals they set.
