Steffen Grarup, VMware, Inc.

Steffen Grarup is a Senior R&D Manager at VMware, Inc., and is responsible for the advanced development center located in Aarhus, Denmark.

The Aarhus center primarily focuses on VMware?s VirtualCenter product line with work on simplifying enterprise application deployment and datacenter operation in a virtualized environment.

Prior to joining VMware, Steffen worked at Esmertec and at Sun Microsystems. At Sun, Steffen was the technical lead for the memory management system in the Java Hotspot Virtual Machine for desktop and servers, and the Java CLDC HotSpot Virtual Machine for mobile devices. Steffen holds an MS in Computer from the University of Aarhus, Denmark.
