Main working area is software projects in the IBM mainframe area. He is a certified senior project manager (IPMA level B).

Abstract:

Jan wants to share his experiences from using agile methods in a large software development project for the IBM mainframe platform (zOS / zLinux / DB2).
In this talk he wants to point out the differences between software development on a large mainframe project and smaller "typical" agile projects. These differences range from size to complexity to technology.

Jan will report on the special experiences they made and the lessons they learned using an agile approach in such an environment.
