Presentation: "Architecture for a European SOI for e-procurement"

Time: Wednesday 13:00 - 14:00

Location: To be announced

Abstract:

A consortium of European countries is planning to establish a pan European infrastructure for the exchange of business documents related to e-procurement.

The infrastructure will be based on web service technologies designed to bridge existing national infrastructures. The goal is to allow companies from different countries to exchange orders, invoices and electronic catalogues, by registering their business processes in national registries. The company, service and process information is federated among the national registries, and this allows all participating companies to identify the capabilities of their business partners.
