Chris Riley

Chris Riley is a Senior Consultant and speaker having supported many engagements across North America. He is a contributor to the “SOA Design Patterns” book from the Prentice Hall Service-Oriented Computing Series, On SOA podcasts series and to SOA Magazine. In his capacity as a consultant, Chris is working with Fortune 500 organizations in Financial Services, Consumer Products, Education and Government Agencies in their pursuit of Enterprise SOA. His expertise focuses on helping organizations move from traditional distributed computing processes to a Service Oriented Architecture using Open Standards.

Prior to working with SOA Systems, Chris ran Professional Service for Cape Clear Software as Director of Architecture helping North American customers implement Enterprise Service Bus technology. In this role, Chris also coordinated and supported webinars and speaking engagements promoting ESB/SOA with Gartner, Forrester and ZapThink as well as public forums such as the Integration Consortium, Toronto Java User Group and SOA Seminar Series. Previous to Cape Clear, Chris worked at Extricity, Inc. as a Senior Solution Consultant and PTC as a manager of Technical Services.
