 Scalable Computing

Building scalable distributed sytems often requires thinking in terms of very different system architectures, as compared to our traditional notions of distributed systems. This track provides a presentation of some of the more promising architectural principles and technologies that are starting to be popular today. We will look into peer-to-peer computing, queueing networks, grid computing, distributed memory systems and autonomous decision making in distributed systems.
