 Service Oriented Computing (SOA)

Enterprises today are forced into integrating existing systems or "services" in order to meet demand in developing business processes. Such services are often tied to existing hardware installations, may be remote, and very often hard or impossible to change. One side of Service-Oriented practices is concerned with making this integration real. The counterpart to this, is how we make our systems be 'good citizens' in the future, when we develop systems that will be orchestrated in service oriented ways in the future.
