 Platforms For Embedded Software

In an era of cool, tiny hardware devices, the software for small, mobile systems is more important than ever. Technologies are emerging to manage the complexity of highly connected systems that need to be discretely ubiquitous yet dependably crash- and hack-proof. We will be looking at developments within mobile Java, but also other technologies, both for phones and even smaller thinking gadgets. This track will equip you with the knowledge and understanding of the constraints of small computing and the opportunities you as a developer have before you.
