Time: Wednesday 13:00 - 14:00 Location: Conference Hall 1
Abstract:
JavaTM 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EETM) 1.4 adds significant support for Web services. This session is based on the upcoming Java Series book by the speakers, Designing Web Services with the J2EE Platform 1.4. The session starts with key issues while designing Web service endpoints, such as designing synchronous Web services, asynchronous messages exchanges, and choosing document or object-style parameters. It also covers issues while writing Web service clients, such as when to use Stubs and Dynamic proxies, and how to handle exceptions. It presents how to create secure endpoints using JAX-RPC API and message-level security. Presentation: "Panel WS"
