Abstract: EJB clearly dominates the Application Server market. Most enterprise
projects try to solve their problems with the help of EJB. At the
same time EJB 3.0 as the next major version is being standardized. So
it is a good time to sum up the experiences so far. Besides unsolved
problems and open questions some solutions from practical experience
are shown. Also the approaches for possible sucessor of EJB are
presented.
