Presentation: "Implementing Type C Scrum in different corporate models"
Time: Tuesday 13:00 - 14:00
Location: Conference Hall 2
Scrum and Agile provide tremendous benefits when deployed at the team and IT or Product Development organization levels. Once successfully deployed at that level, it quickly becomes apparent that the potential benefits to the company of Scrum and Agile could be far greater if deployed beyond those organizational bounds into the lines of business and general management. Conveniently (or inconveniently, depending on your perspective) the transparency of impediments brought by Scrum and Agile will point out obstacles to higher productivity and organizational performance in a way that will make it hard to avoid addressing the rest of the organization.
Evan Campbell, VP of Services at Rally Software Development (an Agile Project Management and Development Lifecycle tools vendor), and former CTO and VP of Professional Services at SolutionsIQ (a 450 person software development services and Agile consulting organization) will compare and contrast the Type C Scrum models in use for managing higher corporate functions in both business models (software products and IT services companies).
