Abstract: REST, short for REpresentational State Transfer, is a name for the
architectural principles underlying the world's largest and most
successful distributed system - the World Wide Web. In this talk, Kim
will describe the key REST principles, and how they can be applied to
Ruby projects.

Abstract: Merb is a model view controller web framework which leaves most of the functionality to plugins, offering a very lightweight core framework.
In this talk Kim will show how to use Merb with Sequel for persistence.
