Time: Tuesday 13:00 - 14:00 Location: ARoS Auditoriet
Abstract:
Offshore development and maintenance of IT systems is currently heatedly debated topic amongst CIOs. Key goals are often cost reduction and increased sourcing flexibility. However, many challenges have to be dealt with, including quality issues, cultural differences, legal issues and the fear to lose control over critical business systems. This presentation uses concrete examples to illustrate how Model Driven Offshoring (MDO) can help improving control over the Offshore value chain, resulting in customer specific solutions which meet the individual customer's risk profile. The presentation is focusing on MDO in the areas of legacy modernization and migration. |
