Presentation: "Tool mimicry in the OO world"
Tuesday 16:15 - 17:00, Public Room
While J2EE is undoubtedly the more mature and open standard,
Microsoft .NET is generally percieved as growing out of a better tool
environment. For J2EE to be truly successful in the long term, it
needs to support and encourage a better tool paradigm, and make it
easier for the average developer to write code according to best
practices as they evolve.
This presentation will discuss how some of the emerging J2EE
standards enables a new generation of tools, and show how this has
already influenced the community.
