Presentation: "Managing performance risks in Java and J2EE applications"

Tuesday 12:30 - 13:00, Business Room

Keeping performance and reliability issues under control throughout the development cycle provides a risk-minimizing and time-saving alternative to the costly, traditional practice of addressing performance issues at the end of a project. By assuring that Java and J2EE applications make efficient use of hardware resources, one can prevent dramatically higher costs from hardware during the staging and deployment phase incurred by non-optimized Java code.
Given the benefits and the challenges that Java presents, this session will discuss how the right toolset can help gain insight into how Java and J2EE applications are behaving in order to track down and identify performance issues even at the source level. Optimizeit ServerTrace will be showcased as part of this session.
