Why JAOO IT-Run?
Software Engineers, Project Managers - a lot of us - exercise too little. The JAOO conference would like to make a difference and therefore we organize the Bowerman JAOO IT-Run for the second time. Whether you are a regular runner or have to start from scratch we hope that a lot of participants will take the challenge and join the run.

See it as a chance to get in shape both for your personal well-being and to prevent injuries from working longtime with computers.

Who is Bowerman?
Bill Bowerman was a running coach, a thinker and a man of ridicilous ideas. In 1971 he co-founded Nike. Read more about Bowerman here: www.nike.com

Activities at Ridehuset
There will be several activities and booths to entertain you at Ridehuset - both before, during and after the run has taken place.

For children
The youth department of Aarhus 1900 will organize athletic activities for children in the ages 5 to 13. These will be high jump, long jumping, hurdle race, racing and throwing.

Vigør
At vigør's booth you can have your physical fitness calculated after a small walk and measuring of your pulse. They also offer to measure your weight, fat procent and blood pressure, and inform of physical activities leading to a healthy living.

Sportsmaster
Sportsmaster have a booth where they sell running shoes, running clothes and other accessories related to running.

Nike
Nike will be there with a car filled with runningshoes - test them out for free at the run.

6.6 km.

Individual & Team
Run either as individual or in teams of 3 runners.
Individuals and teams run at the same time. IT Teams run 5 min. later.

Startnumber
Your Nike T-shirt is your startnumber.
T-shirts can be picked up before the run at Sportsmasteren, Frederiksgade 32, if you registered at latest tuesday september 22, or else one hour before start in Ridehuset.

This includes a Nike Dri-Fit T-Shirt, sandwich and refreshment
