John Daniels is a Product Architect working with Sterling Software's UK Laboratories in London. John is one of the lead architects behind Sterling Software's new EJB implementation tool named COOL:Joe, and has worked extensively with EJB technology since its inception. Morten Strand is Product Manager of Adaptive Systems Denmark, and responsible for products in Sterling Software's COOL product suite. Morten Strand has more than 15 years of experience with IT systems development, and during the last seven years he has been heavily involved in the implementation of various COOL products at Adaptive Systems customers in Denmark.
This session will show how to architect, design and specify EJB components in Sterling Software's COOL:Spex product. It will also explain how to take component architecture and specifications from COOL:Spex into COOL:Joe, Sterling Software's brand new EJB implementation tool, and show how COOL:Joe hides the complexity of the EJB environment from application developers.
