Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB) are an approach to simplifying the implementation, composition, deployment, and management of distributed transactional systems on the Java platform. Up until now, though, many users have steered clear of EJB because of a lack of technology maturity. The marriage between CORBA and Java is the perfect foundation for making this technology mature and useable in the real world. CORBA-based EJB is a robust and scalable distributed infrastructure enabled by a very easy to use component model. This session will provide a technical overview of the upcomming Inprise EJB Container and it's tools.
