Peter Eeles, Rational Software

/alltime/images/speakers/peter_eeles.jpg Peter Eeles works for Rational Software, part of the IBM Software Group, and has spent a large part of his career architecting and implementing large-scale, distributed systems. He is based in the UK, and is the Worldwide Community of Practice Lead for Model-Driven Development, assisting organizations in their adoption of the Rational Unified Process and the Rational toolset in architecture-centric initiatives. Prior to joining Rational, Peter was a founding member of Integrated Objects, where he was responsible for the development of a distributed object infastructure. This technology was used by System Software Associates (an ERP solutions provider) and by Mobile Systems International (a telecoms solutions provider) where Peter also held positions. He is coauthor of "Building J2EE Applications with the Rational Unified Process" (Addison-Wesley, 2002), coauthor of "Building Business Objects" (John Wiley & Sons, 1998) and a contributing author to "Software Architectures" (Springer-Verlag, 1999). He is a regular speaker at conferences throughout Europe.
