Julian Simpson started his career in technical support. He has run his own business connecting people to the Internet, been (and sometimes still is) a Unix systems administrator. Julian spent four years at ThoughtWorks doing build, continuous integration and deployment on large software projects. He has worked on Java and .NET projects in Telecommunications, Media, Finance and Insurance industries. Presently he is working at a media company doing a mix of build and release management and production systems administration.

Keith Braithwaite is a Principle Consultant with Zuhlke Engineering, and leads their Center for Agile Practice in London. He provides Agile training, consultancy and mentoring to development teams in the wholesale finance and mobile telecoms industries.

Previously he was Head of Technology Solutions for the ASIA-PAC region of WDS Global, and co-authored the first published descriptions of successful distributed Agile based on his experience there. He is a frequent speaker at Agile conferences around the world.

Nils Christian enjoys helping teams deliver software that makes both the users and the sponsors happy. He is co-founder of Wasteless where he serves as a consultant specialising in Agile coaching and development of web-enabled business applications. Previously, he was CTO of Know IT Objectnet and has enjoyed working with XP/Agile teams at ThoughtWorks. He is frequent presenter at user groups and international conferences.

Steve was a pioneer of Agile software development in the UK, he has built applications for banks, ISPs, financial data providers, and specialist software companies. He has given training courses in Europe, America, and Asia.

Previously, he worked in research labs, software houses, earned a PhD, and wrote shrink-wrap software for IBM. Steve also teaches in the Computer Science department at University College London. He is a presenter and organizer at international industry conferences, and was conference chair for the first London XpDay.
